Day to day, I'm a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at IAG Loyalty.
IAG Loyalty is the rewards business behind International Airlines Group (IAG), powering Avios and loyalty programs for global airlines including British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Vueling, and Qatar Airways.
In my spare time, I love to build and fix things, both physically and virtually. I'm currently renovating my house myself, one room at a time, and building out a smart home. I prefer to learn the skills and DIY rather than call someone in.
When I'm not working on the house, I'm a keen scuba diver, snowboarder, and paramotorist.

- Develop and maintain automation tools and systems to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual intervention.

My home setup runs core services for local automation, internal DNS, media, and private networking. Everything is configured and managed with the same tools and standards I use in production.

A dedicated server running Proxmox VE hosts lightweight Debian LXCs for services and separate VMs for isolated workloads.

Senior Site Reliability Engineer @IAG Loyalty
May 2024 - present
- Central Auth Service: designed and delivered the infrastructure for a single authorisation service across hundreds of AWS accounts, replacing per-account policy rules with a unified, distributed control layer.
- Kong Konnect migration: led migration moving 50+ engineering teams off a legacy shared control plane onto distributed control planes.
- ECS Service Connect migration: migrated 300+ services across 100+ AWS accounts from AWS AppMesh to ECS Service Connect ahead of deprecation.
- Observability as Code: designed and rolled out an enterprise Terraform/Terragrunt framework for monitoring and observability adopted across the entire business.
- Central CI/CD: established reusable GitHub Actions workflow pipelines consumed company-wide by all engineering teams.
- Member of the company AI workgroup, driving adoption and practical application of AI tooling across engineering teams.
